ollow the instructions below to set up your OPN2002 with a Macintosh Computer in HID mode.

#Follow steps 1 and 2 of the HID side of the OPN2002 Bluetooth Quick Start Guide;

#Open the "System Preferences" application;

+

#Select Bluetooth;

+

#Select the + sign in the bottom left hand corner to set up a new device;

+

#Make sure the blue light is still flashing on your OPN2002;

+

#You should see an OPN2002 in the list of devices, make sure it says Keyboard in the type column;

+

#Select Continue;

+

#The Mac should present you with an eight digit numeric pin code, and the OPN2002 should start beeping;

+

#Scan each of the eight digits respectively using the numbered barcodes on the Quick Start Guide, then scan end to complete the pairing;

==Upgrading==

While there are multiple components to the firmware on an OPN-2002 (Bootloader, OS and Application) the instructions to load them individually or all together are the same. You simply choose the appropriate file(s) during the right part in the process. All files available from Opticon are found in the Downloads section of this page. In addition to the individual files there are also combination files which are all three components bundled together into a single file for easy installation. It is recommended to use these combination files. As the Bootloader and OS files will always be the same you simply choose the combination file for the application you wish to load.
