The "Universal Tuning Tool" Software is Opticon's Windows-based application that performs precision tuning functions to speed up the
decoding process based on a specific application or series of applications by tuning unique configurations into 1 or more (up to 7) 'BANKS'
This Software works only with the 2D Imager type Opticon Scan Modules, such as the following family of products:
- MDI-4xxx Scan Engine Family
- MDI-5xxx Scan Engine Family
- NLV-5201
It also provides a communication terminal window for testing, picture capture, downloading, and Cloning capabilities to load the configuration settings into multiple scanners.

Inside the zip file is an installer. Simply run this installer and answer the questions posed. When the installer is complete the program will launch automatically.
