Field of view is the area of the inspection captured by the imager. For a good read to take place the barcode and Quiet Zone must be completely within both the horizontal and vertical components of the FOV. For our laser and CCD imager scanners the FOV will be completely one dimensional while our CMOS imagers have a 2D FOV.
