Backup & Restore

Backup

To create a backup of your PHL-8000 follow the steps below.

• Navigate to: 'Start' > 'Settings' > 'Control Panel' > 'Control Center' (icon) > 'Backup & Restore' (icon)
• Choose Backup Location (DiskOnChip or SD Card)
• click 'Backup Now'
• click 'Yes' when prompted
• You will see the following text on the screen:

Note: only one backup can exist at a time

Restore

To restore a previously created backup follow the steps below.

• Navigate to: 'Start' > 'Settings' > 'Control Panel' > 'Control Center' (icon) > 'Backup & Restore' (icon)
• Choose the location of the Backup (DiskOnChip or SD Card)
• click 'Restore Now'
• click 'Yes' when prompted
• You will see the following text on the screen while the restore is in progress:

• When complete you will see the following message:

System is restored
Please reset system
(warm boot)

• Perform a Warm boot using the 'reset' switch on the back of the unit (stylus required)
