Take Picture is a Windows Application that allows the user to take a picture using the MDIxxxx scan engines.

Take picture versions can be downloaded from the FTP site. http://ftp.opticonusa.com/TakePicture/

To use take picture follow the instructions below:

*Download and install Take Picture from the link above.
|
| |
|
+ |
*Connect your favorite 2D imager barcode scanner or scan engine to your computer.
|
| |
|

*Make sure the scanner is connected via RS232 or is in USB-VCP mode.
|
| |
|

*Select the appropriate com port under Settings-> Port.
|
| |
|

*Select File->Take Picture.
|
| |
|
+ |
*Pull the trigger of the scanner.
|
| |
|

*Note: the picture doesn't save automatically, you have to select save.
|
| |
|

Take picture is not compatible with all scanners nor is it compatible with all firmware versions.
