In order to set up the OPN-2004 on the Mac, we will need to install the Mac Companion Application and configure the OPN-2004 to connect to the Mac.

# To install the Mac Companion Application, download the "Apple macOS Companion Application" under software downloads. Open the resulting folder, and run the installer "Opticon OPN Demo Application.pkg." Follow the prompts until the installation is complete.

# Plug the OPN-2004 into the Mac. At this point the OPN-2004 should be recognized as a network interface.

# Start up the Apple macOS Companion Application using the Finder. It will automatically detect the OPN-2004. The connection can be confirmed by the green "Connected" text in the top right corner of the application.
