Opticon's Demo Applications for the OPH5000i support downloading of data through Opticon's proprietary protocol called [[OSEComm32]] (OSEComm32). As with all communications, there are two sides. In this case, these are the OPH5000i and the host, a PC. In most situations, the terminal is used to collect data by scanning barcodes. This barcode data is then downloaded to the PC for processing.
