The Opticon MDC100 is a CCD bar code scan engine with a very small rectangular form factor and thin height. This laser scan engine is ideal for space-constrained portable devices. OEMs needing to add 1D scanning capability to smartphones, tablets, sleds, medical devices, diagnostic equipment or kiosks will streamline their design process with this tiny engine: the small size makes it easy to mount. The MDC100 scan engine features a 1x1500 pixel imager that scans bi-directionally at a rate of 200 scans/second. |
